HSFA Units (branches)

Today’s HSF Veteran Units and where to look

  • If  you are a member of a local HSFA Unit, to view what Units are up to, go to Unit Pages on the Menu Bar and click on the link (Members Portal) . This will lead you to The Members’ Compound. You will need to obtain the password from your Unit Secretary or appointed person.

A number of these formations are represented today by groups of veterans who served in them. There are gaps, so if the battery, squadron or company in which you served, or your loved one served, is not represented by one of our branches (we call them “Units“), please let us know. We would like to keep in touch with you, at the very minimum. An email address is best, but a phone number will do.

A significant number of HSF veterans have now moved away from the area in which they served, thus frustrating both contact and reunion. We can put you in touch with an HSF Unit in your area, or help you set one up. Units can also be set up from members of separate Troops or Platoons; whatever works for you in your local area.

Apology: On the Plaque mounted on the top of the HSF Grove Plinth, the inscription describes this as a Company of The Royal Green Jackets, and should have referred to its correct Regimental title, The Queen’s Regiment. We humbly apologise to members of this Unit and to members of both illustrious antecedent Regiments, and their successor Regiments. We were acting upon information supplied and despite rigorous checking we got it wrong between us. The very nature of the dispersal of HSF Association Units  and the low budgets we enjoy makes the administration of  liaison, sometimes, less than ideal. The inscription will be corrected at the next suitable opportunity.
